William Schmidt Brader, 76, of Lower Saucon Township, died Friday,
March 12, in the hospice of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
He was the husband of ****. They would have
been married for 54 years on March 24.
He was employed in carpentry for 20 years and lathing for 25
years in the construction industry before retiring. He was involved
in the construction of Avery Fisher Hall and the Metropolitan
Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late William Amandus
and Lillian Mae (Schmidt) Brader.
He was a member of Edgeboro Moravian Church, Bethlehem.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife; daughters, brother, Jesse of Coopersburg;
three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. April 3 in the church. No calling
hours. Arrangements are by the Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
