Mrs. Amelia B. Shook, 64, of 758 Grand Central Road, Pen Argyl,
died Monday in her home. Northampton County Coroner Joseph
Reichel attributed death to natural cause.
She was the wife of George H. Shook.
She was a self-employed notary public.
Born in Lower Mount Bethel Township, she was a daughter of
the late Hobard G. and Pearl (Williams) Blaine.
Surviving with her husband are four daughters, both of Pen
Argyl; two sisters, ***** of Saylorsburg and
***** of Stockertown; a stepson, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary
Slutter of Palmer Township and Mrs. Virginia Due of Bath; a
foster son, Stanley G. Overpeck Jr., at home; 16 grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Nicholas V. Guerro
Funeral Home, 126 Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. A calling hour
will precede the services.
