Mrs. Joseph A. Howell
Mrs. Emma Barnet Howell, wife of Joseph A. Howell, of 123 North Thirteenth Street, died on Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Perry, Coral Gables, Florida. She had been in failing health for several years and in August she and her husband went to Florida to visit their daughter. Four weeks ago she was stricken with paralysis and this resulted in her death. She was 67 years old.
Mrs. Howell was born in Easton, a daughter of the late John H. and Catherine Barnet. Besides her husband and daughter, Mrs. Perry, she is survived by one granddaughter and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Kleinhans, East Orange, N.J, and Mrs. Elizabeth Drake, widow of Harry W. Drake, of 20 South Tenth Street, this city. Mrs. Howell was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. The body will be brought to this city for funeral services and interment. |
