Allen J. Reichard
Following an illness with cancer, Allen J. Reichard, a respected reside nt of Whitehall Township, died on Sunday evening at his home near the Man or service station, Mickley?s He was 67 years of age last Monday.
Mr. Reichard was born in South Whitehall, near Allentown, the son of Jose ph and Florenda ( nee Frankenfield Reichard. For four years he was propri etor of the hotel at Walbert?s; he tilled a farm at Mickley later becomi ng a cement worker. For the past few years he lived a retired life.
Deceased is survived by his wife, six daughters, Mrs. James Warmkessel, Fu llerton, Mrs. Edwin Heller, Helfrich?s Spring; Mrs. Florence Schaeffer, Or efield; Mrs. William Miller, Lavans; Mrs. Herbert Krock, near Mickley?s a nd Mrs. Oliver Heist, near Wescoesville; one son, Harvey Reichard, of Copl ay; two brothers, Joseph of Greenawald?s and Sumuel, living in the West a nd a number of grandchildren.
Mrs. Reichard was a member of the Lutheran congregation at Centronia, whe re funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon. Rev. H. T. Heil wi ll officiate on account of the illness of Rev. Mr. Kopenhaver. Interme nt in cemetery adjoining. |
