Harry E. Hinkle, 77, Retired Railroader
Harry E. Hinkle, 77, of 9 Elm St., Quakertown, died yesterday in the Quake rtown Community Hospital.
Born in Richlandtown, Bucks county, he was a son of the late William H.a nd Laura (Hager) Hinkle.
Until he retired in 1957, he was employed for 40 years by the Reading C o. in Bethelhem.
He was a member of Bethany Mennonite Church, Quakertown, where he was a fo rmer treasurer and trustee.
He was the husband of the late Carrie F. (Landis) Hinkle.
Surviving are a son, Harry D., of Quakertown; two daughters, Mildred, wi fe of Ralph E. Rosenberger, of Quakertown, and Mary, wife of Dean Zweie r, of Baltimore, Md.; five grandchildren; a brother, John C. of Richlandto wn; two sisters, Mrs. May Shelly, of Quakertown, and Mary, wife of Haro ld Hartman, of Stuart, Fla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bethany Mennonite Church. Calling ho urs will be from 12:30 p.m. Monday until the time of service at the churc h. The A. W. Treffinger and Son Funeral Home, 24 N. Ambler St., Quakertow n, is handling arrangements. |
