John W. Walter, of the firm Walter & Seip, painters and paper hangers died on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'cock, at his late residence No. 2445 Freemansburg Avenue, Wilson Borough, of a complication of ailments. He was born in Easton. October 21, 1865, a son of the late Josiah and Mary Savitz Walter, and had resided in this city his entire lifetime. He is survived by his widow, one stepaughter, Mrs. F.W. Hummel of Easton, and two sisters, Mrs. Camilal Grantz and Mrs. Fred C. Grawitz, of Easton. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, and South Easton Council No 590, Fraternal Patriotic Americans.
