Josiah Walter, died yesterday morning at 8:20 o’clock on Pine street, near Fifth aged sixty years. Deceased had suffered some time from dropsy, and a stroke of palsy. His wife died about fourteen years ago, from the effects of a burning accident at Fourteenth and pine Streets. Her name was Mary Ann Savitz. They are survived by these children; James Walter, of Easton, John Walter of South Easton, Lewis Walter, residing in the West; Mrs. Frederick Grawitz, of Easton, and Mrs. Henry Krantz, of Palmer. Deceased leaves these brothers; Reuben Walter, South Bethlehem, Abraham Walter, of Easton: Enos Walter, of Palmer and Mrs. William Knauss, of Easton, a sister. His remains will be interred from the residence of his son James on Easton Heights. |
