Mrs. Ida C. Vogel
Miss Ida C. Vogel, a native and lifelong resident of Easton,
died at 6:15 O'clock this morning in Betts' Hospital where
she was admitted on May 21 for medical treatment. Miss Vogel,
for the last two years made her home with Miss Kate Huber,
of 819 Valley street. She was 67 years old.
For more than 20 years Miss Vogel conducted a hairdressing
establishment in the Field building, at 423 Northampton street,
retiring about eight years ago because of ill health. She was
a daughter of the late William and Marie Vogel, of this city,
and until her health began to fail, she was active in all congregational
affairs of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Surviving her are a sister, Mrs. Amanda Smith, of Seattle,
Wash., and three brothers, Thomas Vogel, of Seattle, Wash.;
Tim Vogel, residing in California, and Wilson Vogel, of 237
Philadelphia Road. |
