Mrs. Harry Altemus
Mrs. Sadie R. Altemus, 86, formerly of Bangor R. D. 2 and Belfast, died yesterday at Gracedale where she had been a guest since September 1966.
Born Oc. 22, 1890 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William and Ella Young Reigel.
Mrs. Altemus had been married three times and was preceded in death by her husbands, William Bougher, Milton Rasley and Harry Altemus.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond, of California, and Alvin Oxford, five daughters, Mrs. Florence Davis, Mrs. Amy Krantz, and Mrs. Olive Purdy, Mrs. Meredith Hahn and ****, all of Easton; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Four children preceded her in death.
Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. Interment will be in Belfast Union Cemetery, Plainfield Township. |
