Mrs. William D. Romig
Mrs. Bessie S. Romig, 71, Pen Argyl, R. D. 1., died yesterday in Easton Hospital where she was a patient for three days. She was the widow of William D. Romig who died 12 years ago.
Mrs. Romig was born Oct 20, 1893 at Morgan’s Hill, Williams Township, a daughter of the late William and Elemanda Young Riegel.
She was of the United Church of Christ faith.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Allie Van Doren, Pen Argyl, R.D1, with whom she resided, Mrs. Charles Bender, Wind Gap. R. D.1; Mrs. Kenneth Singer, Wind Gap; Mrs. Walton Sadler, Pen Argyl and Mrs. John Young, Nazareth R. D. 3; one son, Floyd Romig, wind Gap R.D. 1; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Altemose, Easton, 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bensing Funeral Home, Moorestown. |
