Emma E. Grube
Emma E. Grube, 86, formerly of 819 Jackson St., Easton, died Wednesday in Gracedale, Nazareth R. D1, where she had been a guest the last four years.

She worked for Mack Printing Co., Wilson, for eight years, retiring in 1962.

Born Feb. 11, 1897, in Durham, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Charles H. Esther Uhler Leh.

Mrs. Grube was a member of St. Mark’s United church of Christ, Easton, and its Ladies Aid Society, the 59ers, and Easton Chapter, Mothers of World War II.

Her husband, Walter I. Grube, died in 1957.

Surviving are two sons, Walter C. of Easton, and Wayne A., of Catasauqua; three daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Lennox and Mrs. Arranetta Young, both of Alpha, and Mrs. Carolyn Nicnick, Morris park, Phillipsburg; a brother, Paul A. Leh, Easton; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A son, Maynard, died in 1919, and a daughter, Pauline, died in 1946.

Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Farmersville Cemetery.
