Walter I. Grube, 67, Of Water bureau, had Bakery Sales Route
Walter Irvin Grube, 67, of 819 Jackson St., died at 6:40 a.m. today at his home. He had been ill for the last year and seriously ill for the last three weeks.
Mr. Grube was employed by the Easton Bureau of Water for the last 4 ½ years. Before that he had a bakery route for Schaible’s Bakery for 22 years.
Born in Durham on June 2, 1890, he was a son of the late Isaac and Sarah Kiefer Grube
He was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Surviving are his widow, the former Emma Elizabeth Leh; three daughters, Mrs. Paul F. Lennox, Philadelphia; Mrs. Paul W. Young, Palmer Township, and Mrs. Joseph Nicnick, Phillipsburg; two sons, Walter C. and Wayne A., both of Easton; three sisters, Mrs. John Williams, Philadelphia; Mrs. William Kreuger, Hellertown, and Mrs. Leslie Klein, Allentown; two brothers, Charles, Hellertown, and Benjamin, Allentown, and seven grandchildren.
