Loretta M. Browning, 84, of the Episcopal House, Allentown, died Friday, March 24, 2006 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Lewis Browning. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Helen M. (Frankenfield) Hartz. Loretta was an assembler for the former Allentown Paper Box for 18 years. She then worked at the Jewish Community Center in Playcare. Mrs. Browning was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Mediator, Allentown.
Survivors: Nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris R. Hettlinger, and brothers, Richard F. Hartz and Charles R. Hartz.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
