Earl Brotzman, 78, Owned Easton Store
Earl A. Brotzman, 78, of 2323 Allen St., Allentown, formerly of Easton, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital where he was admitted March 22. He was ill since November.

Mr. Brotzman and his wife the former Gertrude M. Schippers, formerly lived at 421 W. Berwick St., Easton. Where they owned and operated a grocery store from 1929 until 1966 when they retired.

He was employed as a weaver in various silk and plush mills in the area until 1939.

Born in Williams Township on Oct. 16, 1894, he was a son of the late Edwin and Anna Hahn Brotzman.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown.

Survivors include a son, Earl R., Allentown; a daughter, Mrs. C. Huber Smith, Wescoville, and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hay’s Cemetery
