Miss Elizabeth Bixler
Miss Elizabeth Bixler, 90, formerly of 1837 Lehigh St., Wilson, died this morning in Gracedale, Nazareth R. D.
Miss Bixler was born in Mauch Chunk, now Jim Thorpe, on March 22, 1870, a daughter of the late John and Sabina C. Bixler.
She was employed for 50years by Bush & Bull in Easton and for 15 years by the former Bon-Ton store in Easton.
Surviving are a brother, Charles, Kalamazoo, Mich., and a niece, Miss Sara Thompson, with whom she lived at the Lehigh Street Address.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Fisher funeral Home, Wilson.

The funeral of Miss Elizabeth Bixler, 90, formerly of 1837 Lehigh St., Wilson was held this morning from the Fisher Funeral Home, Wilson.
Miss Bixler died Tuesday morning in Gracedale, Nazareth R. D.
The Rev. Richard W. Lundin, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran church, Easton, officiated. Interment was in Easton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lee Kocher, Alfred Theil, Richard Miller and Fred Mettler. |
