Mrs. Genevieve E. Alder, 76, of 1017 1/2 S. 6th St., Allentown,
died Monday in Muhlenberg Hospital Center. She was the widow
of Frederick "Fritz" Alder. She was a sewing machine
operator for the former Quaker Shoe Co., Allentown, for 15
years until retiring in 1973.
Born in Flemington, N.J., she was a daughter of the late
Clayton and Mary (Jones) Zeller.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown.
Surviving are three sons,
two daughters, two brothers,
Harry Rice and Kenneth, both of Allentown; 11 grandchildren
and four great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Werley-Knopp
Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. A calling
hour will precede the services.
