John P. Young
John P. Young, 82, Delabole, Pen Argyl R. D. 1, died yesterday morning in Easton Hospital where he was admitted Nov. 1.
Mr. Yung was a retired blacksmith and miller.
Born Oct. 8, 1884, in Williams township, he was a son of the late William and Sarah Jacoby Young. He resided in Plainfield Township the last 60 years. His wife the former Lizzie M. Hinkle, died in 1940.
Mr. Young was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Belfast, and the Order of Red men.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. William Lane, Upper Mount Bethel Township; Mrs. Earl Waldron, Califon, N.J. and Miss Catherine Young, at home; a half-brother, Raymond Rodenbach, Wind Gap R. D. 1; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter , Miss Anna Young and a son, John, died before him.
The funeral will beheld at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Schmidt Home, Wind Gap. |
