George H. Young
George H. Young, 81, of Saylorsburg, Pa, formerly of Nazareth,
died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 in Easton Hospital. Born:
On August 26, 1925, he was a son of the late John and Ruth
Mack Young.
Personal: His wife, the former Ethel Lakey, died earlier.
He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He retired
from American Can/Dixie after 33 years of employment.
Memberships: George was a member of Schoeneck Moravian Church.
Survivors: He is survived by three sons, three daughters,
two sisters, 13 grandchildren;
and 12 great-grandchildren. A brother, Richard, died earlier.
Services: Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in
the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West Street, Wind Gap. Call on
Monday from 12 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow
in Wind Gap Cemetery. |
