Doris B. Kahler, 66, of 260B, Cherry Hill Road, Bushkill Township,
died Tuesday, May 19, at home. She was the wife of Roslyn M.
Kahler. They were married for 47 years last month.
She was a crop farmer in Bushkill Township since 1973 and
a dairy farmer since childhood and with her husband, 1957-73.
Born in Lower Mount Bethel Township, she was a daughter of
the late Clark W. and Lottie C. (Good) Yetter.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Moorestown,
having been active in its consistory and ladies guild.
She served on the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farmers
Home Administration and the Pennsylvania Farmer Association,
where she was a secretary for several years.
She was a member of the homemaker's program of the Penn State
Cooperative Extension.
Survivors: Husband; daughter, *****
and sons, ***** and *****, all of Bushkill Township;
sisters, *****and *****, both of Lower Mount Bethel
Township, and *****l of Boynton, Fla.; brother,*****. of Lower
Mount Bethel Township, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son Gregory.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, George G. Bensing Funeral Home,
2165 Community Drive, Bath. Call 7-9 p.m. Thursday..
