George Wolf
George Wolf, for 30 years auditor of passenger traffic of the New Jersey
Central, died at hishome, 125 fifth avenue, East Roselle, N.Y., early
this morning after a brief attack of grip. Mr. wolf, who had been in
the railroad's service since 1858, was at his office in Jersey City
all day Thursdaym, but on Friday was too ill to leave his bed. He was
born in 1841 in Easton, Pa., where the interment will be made on Thursday,
following funeral services from his residence at 1 p.m.
Mr. Wolf served in the Union army during the Civil War and at the
time of his death was a member of Dahlgren Post, Elizabeth. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Erma Rommel Wolf, and three daughters,
Mrs. Selden C. Greaves, Miss Georgette Wolf and Miss Marguerite Wolf.
