Oliver Woodring, retired Farmer
Oliver S. Woodring, 64, of Easton, R.D.2, Lower Nazareth Township, died unexpectedly at 3:10 a.m. today at his hoe. He was in ill health 5 1/2 years.
Mr. Woodring was a farmer. He retired in 1956.
Born in Nazareth on Oct 29, 1897, he was a son of the late Franklin E. and Sarah J. Steinmetz Woodring. He resided at the Easton R.D. 2 address about 50 years.
Mr. Woodring was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth, and Greenmount Cemetery Board, Bath.
Surviving are his widow, the former Blanche P. Kelchner; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence Saylor, Nazareth R.D. 1, and Mrs. Allen Kahler, Nazareth.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m Monday at the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. |
