Mrs. Lloyd M. Butz, 58, Tatamy Store Owner
Mrs. Elizabeth D. Butz, 58, wife of Floyd M. Butz, died Saturday night at her home on Bushkill street, Tatamy, after a years illness. Together with her husband, Mrs. Butz had operated the Butz General Store in Tatamy for many years.

A native of Tatamy and a resident their most of her life, Mrs. Butz was born December 1, 1895, a daughter of the late George and Susannah Brinker Woodring.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical and Reformed Church, Tatamy, and the ladies aid society of that church; the Ladies Auxiliary of the Tatamy Fire company, of which she was a former president for 25 years; the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 514, Nazareth, of which she was a past president, and a member of the POS of A, and Ladies of the Golden Eagle, Nazareth.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two brothers, William H Woodring, of Nazareth R.D., and Stanley R Woodring, of Nazareth, and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Gintner and Mrs. Raymond Osterstock, both of Nazareth, another sister, Mrs. Emma Johnson, died last August 21.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Schmidt mortuary, Nazareth.
