Miss Lula Woerner, Clerk At Melody Music House
Miss Lula M. Woerner, 74, of 2009 Ealer Ave., Wilson, died Saturday
at home.
She was clerk and bookkeeper for Melody Music House, Easton,
from 1946 to the present. She was formerly employed by Young’s
Music, Easton.
Born March 28, 1903, in Gloucester, N.J. she was a daughter
of the late Roy H. and Laura E. Moser Woerner.
She was a ember of Memorial United Church of Christ, Wilson,
the church’s Faith circle, the YWCA of Easton, the Pickwick
Amigo club of Easton, the American Association of Retired Persons,
the Easton Hospital Auxiliary, and the golden Age Club.
Surviving is a cousin, Miss Claire Maul, with whom she resided.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Ashton
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hays Cemetery, Easton.
