Victor Williamson, 85, of Nazareth
Victor E. Williams on, 85, of 208 Mauch Chunk St., Nazareth, died last night at his home.
Mr. Williamson was employed by Young Bros., Nazareth, and later by the Kramer Hosiery Co., Nazareth, for 25 years. He retired in 1945.
Born in Moorestown, on Dec. 11, 1874, he was a son of the late James and Christiana Barlieb Williamson.
He was a member of ST. John’s United Church of Christ, Nazareth.
Mr. Williamson and his wife, the Effie Brong, observed their 62nd wedding anniversary this year.
Surviving in addition to his widow, are a daughter, Eva, wife of Cadawalder Jones, Nazareth; a foster so, Dr. George C. Brong, Bath; a sister, Mrs. Andrew Smith, Nazareth; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth.

The funeral of Victor E. Williamson, 85, of 208 Mauch Chunk St., Nazareth, was held this afternoon at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth. Mr. Williamson died Sunday at his home.
Rev. Thomas D. Garner, D.D., pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Nazareth, officiated. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were Woodrow, Leon and James Brong, Russell Frable, Jacob Nolf and Woodrow Jones. |
