John E. Werner
John E. Werner, formerly of 133 S. 4th Street., Bangor, died at 11:30 a.m. yesterday in Allentown. He had been ill for 15 months.
A lifelong resident of Bangor, he was a son of the late Thomas and Stella Snyder Werner. Prior to his illness he was employed by the Kaiser Hosiery Mill in Bangor.
Mr. Werner was a member of Schoeneck Moravian Church and the BPOE of Bangor.
Surviving are his widow, the former Hilda I. Snyder; a son John Thomas, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Mayanrd Rissmiller, whose hsuband is service with the Army at Camp Gordon, Ga.; three brothers, Thomas, Francis and Karl, all of Bangor R.D., and a sister, Mrs. Harry Rice, of Springfield, N.J.
Private funeral services will be held Friday at the Schmidt Mortuary, Nazareth. |
