Harley M. Walters, 87, of Lutheran Manor, Bethlehem, died
Sunday, May 18, in ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem.
He was the husband of Elizabeth (Schultz) Walters. They were
married 64 years last September.
He and his wife were owners and operators of the former
Walters Formal Wear, Bethlehem, for 25 years before retiring
in 1978. Before that he was a knitter for the former Kraemer
Hosiery Co., Nazareth.
Born in Belfast, he was a son of the late David and Laura
(Mengel) Walters.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
He also was a member of Benevolent Protective Order of the
Elks 191 and North End Wanderers Athletic Association, both
in Bethlehem.
Survivors: Wife; daughter and four grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden
St., Bethlehem. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday. |
