Earl Walters, 66, Retired Employee of Victor Balata
Earl E. Walters, 66, of 2210 Northampton St., Wilson was
dead on arrival at Easton Hospital Saturday.
He retired a year and a half ago after working 50 years
as a loom fixer at Victor Balata and Textile Belting Co.
Born in Easton on Dec. 12, 1904, he was the son of the late
Elmer W. and Jennie L. Apgar Walters.
He was the husband of Grace Hall Walters.
He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Easton.
Surviving are his widow; three brothers, Emmitt A., and
George F., both of Wilson, and Kenneth of Richmond, Va.;
two sisters, Mrs. John W. Young, Palmer Township, and Mrs.
Anna Clements, Sinking Springs; a stepson, Dale R. Smith,
Wilson; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Orla McDonald, Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from
the Clements, Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in
Northampton Memorial Shrine. |
