Zebulon Walters

Zebulon Walter, a well-known resident of Bethlehem Township, died at 12: 15 A.M. on Monday, at his home near the Pond, from stomach trouble, aged 79 years, 6 months and 20 days. Deceased was twice married, his first wife being Miss Caroline Seyfried and his second Miss Sallie Ann Gruver. He is survived by his widow and three children: Mrs. Palmer Woodring of Bethlehem Township and Miss Sarah and John Walter living at home. The following children by his first marriage also survive: Jacob Walter of Palmer Township; William Walter of Pen Argyl; Mrs. Milton Snyder of Schoeneck; Samuel M Walter of Madison NJ and Mrs. Edwin Meixsell of Lower Nazareth. One sister survives him. Mrs. Mahlon Rader of Palmer Township, who is now in her 97th year. For 36 years Mr. Walter lived on the farm now occupied by Ceno Wack, Palmer Township, and seven years ago moved to his last place of residence. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock form his late residence, with services and interment at Arndt's Church, Forks Township.
