Robert O. Wagner, 83, of Bethlehem, died July 17 in Holy Family Manor,
Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth J. (Dvorscak) Wagner.
He worked in the cashier's department of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for
40 years before retiring in 1982 .
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Robert R. and Edna (Ruth)
Wagner.
He was a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church,
Bethlehem Township.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Men of Retirement Age Club chorus, Bethlehem,
and sang with the former Beethoven Maennerchor.
He was a unit commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a
volunteer for the former Leader Nursing Home, Bethlehem, and for Gracedale,
Upper Nazareth Township.
Survivors: Sons, *****. of Slatington, *****. of Bethlehem; daughter,
***** of Ann Arbor, Mich.; brothers, *****. of Allentown,
***** of Harrisburg; sister, ***** of Bethlehem; eight
grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter.
Services: Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. today,
Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, and 9- 9:50 a.m.
Saturday in the church.
