Frank Wagner
Frank Wagner, well know retired contractor of Bethlehem, died yesterday
at his home, that place, aged 83 years.
Deceased served the old borough of South Bethlehem as school director
continuously for 23 years, and was active in the development of the
school on the South Side, where he was highly respected by all, through
his fair dealing at all times.
Mr. Wagner was born in Durham, Bucks County, August 3, 1845 and was
a so of the late Solomon and Sarah Wagner. He was a devout and zealous
member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, being one of the charter
members of the congregation.
He is survived by a son, Roscoe Wagner, and a daughter, Ada Wagner,
at home. Also three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
