F. O. Von Steuben
Floyd O. Von Steuben 61 years old, Sales manager for the Heimbach Baking co., died last night at his home at Allentown. Death was due to a heart ailment.
A native of Hecktown, he was born July 25, 1878, a son of Augustus L. and Ellen LaWall Von Steuben. Mr. Von Steuben had been a resident of Allentown since childhood and he received his education at the public schools and the American Business College.
During his early years he was in the insurance business but since 1915 had been sales manager for various baking companies.
Surviving are his widow, Julia Ecker Von Steuben; one son Owen F., Allentown; two grandchildren and six step-children. They are Mrs. Ana Blaukovitch and Mrs. Helen Fenstermacher, Allentown; Mrs. Julia Schmidt, Fullerton, Emerick Kleinschuster of Florida and Fred and Albert Kelinschuster at home.
Mr. Von Steuben was Reformed by faith and fraternally was affiliated with the Orioles, where he was a charter member.
Funeral services will be held Thursday with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. |
