Fred W. B. Vollmer
Military services for Fred W. B. Vollmer, 58, Washington, D.C,
a former resident of Easton, were held Thursday in Arlington
Cemetery, Va. Mr. Vollmer a veteran of World War I, died march
3, at his home.
Born in Easton, he was a son of Mrs. Emma Kemmerer Vollmer,
now residing in Easton, and the late Fred. W. B. Vollmer,.
Mr. Vollmer moved to Washington in 1935. He was employed as
a cook.
Mr. Vollmer was a member of the First Evangelical and Reformed
church when he resided in Easton. He had served in the U. S.
Marine Corps D.C. during World War I.
Surviving are his widow, the former Mae Barnaclo; a daughter,
Mrs. Bernadete Smith, Washington, D. C. and brother, Chester
W. Vollmer, Palmer Township. |
