Clarence R. VanLuvanee
Clarence R VanLuvanee, 96, of Nazareth R. D. 1 formerly of
Wilson, died Tuesday in Nazareth R. D. 1.
He was a retired mail carrier working out of the Easton Post
Office.
Born Nov 18, 1889, in Lower Saucon Township, he was a son
of the late Robert and Harriet Belle Stocker Van Luvanee.
Mr. Van Luvanee was a life member of Lester W. Pfeffer American
Legion Post 611, Wilson, and was active in the Boys Scouts
of America many years ago. He served with the U. S. Army during
World War I and received a number of decorations.
His wife, the former Florence M Boehm, died Oct 31, 1967.
Surviving are two daughters, *****, Palmer
Township and ***** of Easton; a sister, Nora Van Luvanee, San
Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday in Northampton
Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township. The Strunk Funeral Home,
Wilson, is in charge of arrangements.
