He would have been seventy-four years old tomorrow. His wife died six years ago. Deceased has no children. He was a native of Bethlehem township, a son of the late George and Elizabeth Unangst, and he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Susan Stuber, of Bethlehem township. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. He was at one time in the grocery business at the corner of of Eleventh and Washington street, but he retired a number of years ago. During the forty-eight years that he lived in this city, he kept a complete diary of his doings and daily events. This diary had grown until it now fills seven volumes. It has already been used by lawyer in cases, in which they wished to bring out certain facts.
