Willard J. Uhler Sr., 80, of 1511 Washington St., Wilson, died Monday in his home. He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Snyder) Uhler.
He worked at Keppler's Fuel Co., Easton, for many years before retiring. Before that he worked at Gravell Fuel Co., Wilson. He also was a part-time officer with the Wilson Boro Police Department for 28 years before retiring.
Born in Bethlehem Township, he was a son of the late Herman and Lenora (Getz) Uhler.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilson.
Survivors: Son, the *****. of Tamaqua; daughter *****, wife of ***** of Horsham, Montgomery County; sister Irene of Wilson and two grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton streets, Easton. |
