Louise E. Uhler, 85, of Bushkill Street, Easton, died Monday in her home.
She was employed by the Easton Area School District for 43 years, as a mathematics teacher for 30 years, and a guidance counselor for 13 years at the former Shull Jr. High School. She retired in 1971.
Born in Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Clayton G. and Myrtle Belle (Messinger) Uhler.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Easton, where she served as superintendent of its former weekday religious school and was chairwoman of the Christian Education Committee.
Survivors: Nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Strunk Funeral Home, Berwick Street at Reynolds, Easton. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday. |
