Rev. George I. Uhler
Rev. George I. Uhler, 90, of Lewisberry R.D.1, York County, retired Lutheran pastor died yesterday at Harrisburg Hospital.
The Rev. Mr. Uhler was the husband of the former Norine Elizabeth Thompson of Easton who died in 1945. His last charge was at Poartage, Pa.
Born in Middaughts, Pa., he was a graduate of Gettysburg College, class of 1895, and Gettysburg Seminary, class of 1896.
Surviving are two sons, Col R. T. Uhler, Jacksonville, Fla, and Ilgen S. Uhler, Lewisberry R.D. 1 and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Easton Cemetery. |
