Alvin F. Uhler
Following an illness of five months, suffering of Bright’s
Disease, Alvin F. Uhler died yesterday afternoon at his home,
1302 Lehigh Street, aged 48 years. The deceased was an employee
of the Easton Transit Company during the past seventeen years,
was a member of the Easton police force for three years prior
to that time, and was widely known. He is survived by his wife,
and by three children, Robert Uhler, Miss Evelyn Uhler and
Miss Elsie Uhler, all residing, at home, also by his father,
Reuben Uhler,of Forks Township, and by one brother, and one
sister, John Uhler, of Tatamy, and Miss Jennie Uhler, of Forks
Township. The funeral will be held next Thursday afternoon
at the late home of the deceased. Interment will take place
in Forks cemetery.
