Margaret I. "Peg" Vivian
Margaret I. "Peg" Vivian, 67, of Phillipsburg, died
Saturday, December 4, 1999 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center,
Salisbury Twp., Pa.
She was a sewing machine operator for various area mills and
last worked for Avante Bedspreads, in Easton.
Born December 15, 1931 in Easton, she was the daughter of
the late John and Margaret P. Nixon Taylor.
At one time she was active as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader
and was known to many as K-9 on the C.B. radio.
She attended the Easton Assembly of God Church in Palmer Twp.
Her husband, the late Leonard P. "Juice" Vivian
died July 16, 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Dale P. at home and Richard A.
of Carbondale, Pa., two daughters, Margaret E. Hopkins and
Deborah A. Briglia, both of Phillipsburg and a brother, John
W. Taylor of Easton and nine grandchildren. A granddaughter,
Crystal G. Hopkins died October 20, 1991.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the
Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. The
Rev. Patrick Weber, pastor of the Easton Assembly of God Church
will officiate the services. Burial will be in Northampton
Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., Pa. Calling hours will be held
from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
