Easton Express, Monday, March 28, 1932
Howard N. Stull, 31 of 27 South Second street, this city, was fatally injured,
and Miss Helen Flynn 25, of 109 Hudson Street, Phillipsburg, was critically
hurt and in the event of recovery, may be crippled for life, as a result of
an automobile upset on the Stockertown-Easton road last evening.
Stull was well known in Easton and it's vicinity. For the
past eight years he had been employed at the store of the
T.T. Miller Hardware Company. He was formerly a prominent
athlete. He was a member of the Easton High School football
team for three years, playing a halfback position. He also
played baseball with a number of local teams.
Mr. Stull was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard M. Stull, of
134 Lincoln Street. South Side, and they with his wife, are
his only survivors.
Mr Stull was a member of Post H. Traveler's Protective Association
and General Judson Kilpatrick Camp NO. 233. Sons of Union
Veterans, of Easton. He attended St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors: Daughters, Linda Vanhorn of Riegelsville and
Judith Simcik of Easton; sons, Robert L. Jr. and Charles,
and a brother, Donald H., all of Easton, and five grandchildren.
