Clarence E Steckel
Clarence Ernest Steckel, 50, of 129 South Thirteenth Street,
died yesterday afternoon in Allentown following a long illness.
Mr. Steckel was born in Easton and lived here most of his life.
He was graduated from Sayre High School and made his home
that community for a brief time. He was a son of Mrs. Eva Steckel
of DeLand, Fla. and the late William Ernest Steckel.
Mr. Steckel had been employed as an electrician at Creveling's
electric shop here for eight years before he became ill. He
was a member of Raubsville Methodist Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary
Steckel, two sisters, Mrs. Irma Plumb and Mrs. Charles Ziegenfuss,
both of Easton, a brother George Leslie Steckel of Orlando,
Fla. and one nephew and niece. |
