Marion N. Vogel -- dance instructor
Marion Naomi Vogel, 85, of Tulsa, Okla., died Monday, Oct.
8, in her home. She was a dance instructor and worked in sales
before retiring.
Born July 17, 1916, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late
Samuel and Mary Alice Snyder.
She had resided in Bradenton, Fla., and California, moving
to Tulsa in 1991. She attended Easton High School where she
was active in sports. She was active in the PTA and was a Boy
Scout den mother in California. She was active with the Order
of the Eastern Star and the Grandmother's Club while living
in Bradenton. She volunteered with the March of Dimes, the
American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed
bird watching, sports and attending her annual class reunions.
Her husband, Luther, died earlier.
She is survived by a son, Paul; two daughters, Nancy Stephens,
and Jean; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A daughter,
Anna E.; a sister, Elizabeth Morrison; and two brothers, Kenny
and Clare, died earlier.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Rose Chapel,
Boston Avenue Methodist Church, Tulsa. Burial will be in Hays
Cemetery in Easton.
