Ethel Kauffman, 78, Area Church Organist
Mrs. Ethel Kauffman, 78, of 409 S. Main St., Nazareth, died Friday in Eastwood Convalescent Home, Wilson.
Born in Martin’s Creek, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Gulick Snyder.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth, and was organist at Mount Zion Church, Martin’s Creek, for many years. She was a member of the Nazareth Women’s Club and the Muhlenberg Medical Center Auxiliary.
Surviving with her husband, Floyd “Ben” Kauffman, are a daughter, ***** of West Chester; a brother Edgar of Bethlehem; a sister, Mrs. Paul W. Staples of Easton, and a grandchild.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bartholomew Funeral Home, Nazareth. Interment will be in Three Church Hill Cemetery, Martin’s Creek. |
