Carl R. Snyder III, 53, of Nazareth, died October 7, 2008, in his home. Carl was born September 5, 1955, in Fountain Hill, son of the late Carl R. and Irene (Leader) Snyder. Carl was an electrician with I.B.E.W., Local 102 for many years. He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Moore Township. He was a 1973 graduate of Nazareth High School. He was a member of the Nazareth Jacksonian Club, where he was an avid bowler. He loved archery, miniature golf, hunting and fishing. Baseball was his passion, playing and watching baseball was his love. He was a devoted father to his two daughters, he enjoyed coaching them in basketball and taking walks with them through town. He bowled in leagues at Bath American Legion and played in various darts leagues.
Survivors: Two daughters, two brothers, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Richard Snyder.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, October 11, Reichel Funeral Home, 220 Washington Park, Nazareth. Call Friday 7-9 p.m. in Reichel Funeral Home Nazareth.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for the educational fund of his daughters.
