James C. Sliker
James C. Sliker, 55, of 1081 Lincoln St., died yesterday in
Easton Hospital where he was admitted Oct. 25. He was ill since
August.
Born Oct. 23, 1914, in Easton, he was a son of Mrs. Henrietta
Edinger Sliker, at home, and the late Charles Sliker.
Mr. Sliker was employed 35 years by the Transogram Corp. He
was also a bartender at the Pioneer Club.
He was a member of the company's 25-year club, Loyal Order
of Moose, Lodge 45, Easton; Order of Fleas, Pioneer Athletic
Club, Citizens Hose co., and Rice-Ebner Post 588 Home Association.
He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include his widow, Flossie Harley Sliker; a son,
****., and a daughter, ****, both of Easton, and two
grandsons.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Strunk
Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery. |
