Joan Ann Shotwell, 72, of LaBelle, Fla., formerly of New Canaan, Conn., and Pen Argyl, died Monday, Sept. 3, in her home.
A graduate of Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse at Stamford (Conn.) Hospital before retiring.
Born in Westfield, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Beulah E. (Harding) Shotwell.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, LaBelle, and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church, Darien, Conn.
She was a former member of the Sweet Adelines International, Fort Myers (Fla.) Chapter, and the LaBelle Heritage Museum.
Survivors: Nieces, nephews.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Friday, Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl. No calling hours. Arrangements, Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, Pen Argyl.
