Clark Shook
Clark Shook, 82, of 22 S. Whitfield St., Nazareth, died yesterday
in Easton Hospital where he was admitted Tuesday. He had been
in ill health for some years.
Mr. Shook was an employe of the Nazareth Borough for eight
years, retiring in 1961. Before that he worked for the Nazareth
Cement Co.
Born in Plainfield Township, he was a son of the late George
and Agnes Beck Shook. He had resided in Nazareth 30 years and
before that time lived in Belfast.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Plainfield
Township; the Nazareth Democratic Jacksonian Club and the Nazareth
Fire Co.
Surviving are his widow, the former Addie Edelman Messinger;
two stepdaughters, Miss Lamoss Messinger of Easton and Mrs.
F. L. MacDonald of Metuchen, NJ, and one grandson. His first
wife, Mary Remel Shook, a son, a brother and a sister preceded
him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Schmidt
Mortuary, Nazareth.
