Arthur Shannon, Easton Clothing Salesman, was 82
Arthur (Doc) Shannon, 82, Easton clothing salesman died Saturday night in Easton Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital March 30.
Mr. Shannon resided at Hotel Lafayette, Easton.
He was employed as a salesman for Lee Socks, Easton, for 17 years. He later became manager of Crawford & Fairer, Easton, for six years. He also was a salesman for Joseph’s, Richards, and May’s men’s wear stores in Easton.
Born in Portland, he was a son of the late Charles and Irene Linaberry Shannon.
He was a member of the Easton Democratic Club and the Bangor Jacksonian Democratic Club.
His nearest relatives are two nieces, Mrs. Laura Fehnel, Easton, and Mrs. Golden Feigleman, Margate City, N.J.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Schiavone Funeral Home, Bangor. |
