Philip T. Sandt Dies in California
Philip T. Sandt, a native of Easton, and son of the late Edwin and Etna Sandt, died yesterday in a hospital at Los Angeles, California, of hemorrhage of the brain. He was 56 years old. Mr. Sandt was a graduate of Easton High school, class of 1887 and attended Lafayette College for two years. Later he became a certified public accountant with a diploma from an Illinois college.
He is survived by three children: Samuel and Philip T. Sandt, and Mrs. Edwin Sheldon, of Fairhope, Alabama, and two brothers. Harry Sandt of Easton and James Sandt of Madison N.J. and two sisters, Mrs. May Ziegler of Brooklyn and Mrs. Robert Cather, of Cleveland, Ohio. The burial will take place at Los Angeles.
