Mrs. Margaret C. Saloman, 77, of 495 Corliss Ave., Phillipsburg, died
Tuesday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. She
was the wife of Frank G. Saloman. The couple observed their 55th wedding
anniversary last August.
She worked as an office clerk for the former Sanco Piece and Dye Works,
Phillipsburg.
Born in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Edward C. and
Mabel (Rush) Rush.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lopatcong Township, where
she was a former pianist and organist and served as secretary and a
teacher of its Sunday school for many years. She also was a Sunday
School teacher and pianist for the former Prospect Street Union Mission,
Phillipsburg.
Her husband is the only immediate survivor.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Rupell Funeral Home, 465
Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Friday
(today). |
